Till It's Gone- Yellawolf

New music from rapper Yellawolf.

I remember back when Kid Rock came out of the D, and was pure hip hop. He got a lot of crap for it, but somehow managed to find his niche with country and rock audiences. Now more country than rock.

Yellawolf snuck onto the scene back in 2005 on his own indy label Slumamerican, and caught the attention of uncle EM and got signed to his label Shady Records. Yella is from rural Alabama, and had no qualms with letting all of his life hang out in vivid detail. His videos reflected where he was from, rather than trying to paint himself as some urban pimp he kept it all the way backwoods. Can't hate that.

I am sensing Yella having a similar revelation. To still use rap as a catalyst, but improving his sound with live instrumentation and a better concentration of lyrics. This song seems like the evolution from the pit of 'white rapperdom' into mainstream artistry.

Clink your glass for the bro.
